Tasty Italian cuisine! One of the best home cooked dishes like Aglio Olio, Marinara, French onion soup and Minestrone tried. Good old antique furnishings and ambience. Grazie!
I had a meeting in Nanton and stopped at the Wild Thyme Café—no regrets! Mike, the owner, was fantastic. I grabbed the beef sandwich to go along with a San Pellegrino, which Mike recommended as the perfect pairing. And he was right! The sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the drink complemented it perfectly. Great food, great service—thanks, Mike! I’ll definitely be back.
After a pleasant visit to the local bomber museum, we thought of sampling some Nanton food. The cafe was elegant in all respects. Great friendly service, intimate atmosphere, fabulous food. Definitely would stop here again when in the neighbourhood.
Amazing atmosphere, service and incredible food here!! I love treating myself here and highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys true, perfectly homemade foods with a special touch of genuine care!! I have really enjoyed supporting this place and will continue to do just that!
nice and cozy atmosphere, that great decor, fireplace and artwork. There is also seating for the warmer months outside, easy access from hwy 2. portion sizes could be a bit bigger, but all in all was a great little stop while in Nanton, AB
At Wild Thyme for the first time, we experienced authentic quality Italian style food! Complete with frosted mugs for the Italian Beer similar to Heineken ! The bruschetta was really good, followed by Fettuccine alfredo and chicken parmesan. The portion sizes were good, and great value for the price. I had to take my dessert home, which happened to be homemade cheesecake. I'm definitely returning to try some of the specialty coffees and some lunch options in the near future! This is a restaurant run by just the owner at the moment during slow months. So come with some patience if he's busy. He is by himself. But we had wonderful service.
Very nice restaurant owned by a friendly Italian guy. Felt welcomed. Only downside for me, prices seem a little high. Comparable to Moxie's and such.
